The Thorlo Karāpiro Marathon run day is the final day for Long Course Weekend New Zealand. The finish line is there to greet you with a stunning red carpeted finish chute for all athletes. As a spectator, you can come down to watch your loved one cross the finish line and if you come down early enough, you can witness the pro’s run through to a victory. The run courses take participants through the rural Waikato landscapes that Karāpiro and it's surrounding areas are known for.

A day of racing in the picturesque location of Karāpiro.
Chip timing.
A stunning finishers medal.
A free snack size Hell Pizza voucher plus Em's Power Cookie & Vista Sparkling Water product samples, as well as a special LCW NZ shoe bag and sports drink bottle.

Course Distances

Kids' 2.5km Fun Run, 5km, 10.5km, 21.1km and 42.2km

Walkers are also welcome to enter into the 'Walking Only' categories of 5km, 10.5km or 21.1km
